This office is responsible for the following functions, and you should contact the numbers above if you have any concerns or questions relating to them:
- Locating and obtaining texts worldwide for input
- Text input ordering and priority scheduling
- Coordination, staffing, and financing of all ACIP offices
- Overall project finances and fundraising
- Sponsorship of text input
- Personnel issues, including volunteering and internship opportunities
- Policies and standards
- Domestic data verification
- Maintenance of the ACIP Master Database
- Maintenance of the ACIP Master Catalog
- Coordination of project volunteers
- Tibetan and Sanskrit font and word processing development and licensing
- Data purchasing and licensing
- Domestic and foreign government liaison
- Preparation of contracts with overseas and domestic contractors
- Establishment and enforcement of quality control standards

ACIP Japan
In recognition of the special interest and expertise of Japanese scholars in the Tibetan and Sanskrit classics, the Asian Classics Input Project maintains a special contact office in Japan, under the capable direction of Mr. Kelsang Tahuwa.
