Sharon Gannon
Sharon GannonYogini Sharon Gannon's quest for independence began with her birth on 4 July in Washington, DC. Her interest in mysticism was nourished by her Catholic upbringing and she holds a BA in Dance, having studied ballet, modern, classical and various forms of Indian Dance as well as music and Eastern philosophy. Together with David Life, and through the blessings of her teachers, Sharon has created the Jivamukti Yoga Method, which integrates asana practice with an ethical lifestyle focused on attaining enlightenment through compassion for all beings. The Jivamukti Yoga Method is taught world-wide in Jivamukti Yoga centers independently owned and directed by students of Gannon and Life. These centres are in Munich, London, Toronto, Detroit and the West Village of NYC

David Life
David LifeTogether with Sharon Gannon, and through the blessings of his teachers, David has created the Jivamukti Yoga Method.
David is a certified Advanced Level II practitioner of the Ashtanga system of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore India. He spent several years as a sannyas (renunciate) of a lineage of yogic monks in India. David has even received Kalachakra and Bodhisattva initiation from His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. His interest in yoga is supported by his artistic, literary and metaphysical studies.

Dharma Mittra
Dharma MittraShri Dharma Mittra is a Yoga teacher, and a student of Sri Swami Kailashananda Maharaj. According to Yoga Journal magazine, he's best known for creating the "Master Yoga Chart of 908 Postures," but his "influence on the yoga world extends far beyond the nearly 50,000 copies of that poster that have been printed since Mittra completed the laborious project in 1983." [1] He has been teaching since 1967, and is Director of the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City.
Having initiated tens of thousands of individuals into the practice of Yoga, Dharma Mittra's students and admirers call him the "Teacher's Teacher" and the "Rock of Yoga."

Rajashree Choudhury
RajashreeBorn in Kolkata, India in 1965, Rajashree Choudhury started her yoga training at the urging of her parents at the age of four. She holds a degree in Hatha Yoga Therapy. She was the unbeaten five-time winner of the All-India Yoga Championship Competition from 1979 to 1983.
While teaching yoga throughout the world and the United States, Rajashree enjoys most teaching with her husband, Bikram Choudhury, the world renowned hatha yoga master, who is famous for his system of Bikram Yoga therapeutic hatha yoga postures. They both teach at Bikram's Yoga College of India in Beverly Hills, California and conduct seminars worldwide.

Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa
GurmukhGurmukh is the co-founder and director of Golden Bridge Nite Moon, Los Angeles' premier center for the study and practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. Since being baptized 35 years ago with the Sikh spiritual name meaning "One who helps people across the world ocean," Gurmukh has dedicated her life to fulfilling her namesake. For nearly three decades, students in Los Angeles and from around the world have sought out her classes in Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and pre-and post-natal care.

Chris Chapple
Chris ChappleChristopher Key Chapple is the Navin and Pratima Doshi Professor of Indic and Comparative Theology at Loyola Marymount University. Dr. Chapple's research interests have focused on the renouncer religious traditions of India: Yoga, Jainism, and Buddhism. He has published several books, including Karma and Creativity (1986), a co-translation of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (1991) and a co-edited volume, Jainism and Ecology: Nonviolence in the Web of Life (2002) and Reconciling Yogas (2003).

David Gordon White
David Gordon White is a professor in the religious studies department at the University of California Santa Barbara
His most recent publications include Kiss of the Yogini: “Tantric Sex” in its South Asian Contexts (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 2003 and The Alchemical Body: Siddha Traditions in Medieval India (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1996). Current Research/Projects:

Dr Douglas Brooks
Douglas BrooksDr Douglas Brooks is among the world’s leading scholars of Hindu tantrism and the esoteric traditions of the Goddess. After receiving a Masters degree from Harvard Divinity School, he continued his studies in the history of religions, Sanskrit, and Indian studies going on to receive a Masters and Doctorate from Harvard University's Center for the Study of World Religions.

Douglas is the author of a number of books and scholarly articles on Hinduism and the Comparative Study of Religion.
